As Construction Manager for Hill International & Louis Berger, Engr. Hasim played a pivotal role in the $9.4‑billion Riyadh Metro Project, one of the largest urban transport systems in the world.

His responsibilities spanned:

  • Managing Line 4 and Line 6, covering 14 stations, viaducts, tunnels, depots, and park‑and‑ride facilities

  • Managing DLP, snagging, de‑snagging, and final handover

This role demanded not only technical mastery but also leadership, diplomacy, and the ability to navigate complex interfaces across international contractors and stakeholders.

Stormwater Megaprojects with ARAMCO & AECOM

Before the Metro, Engr. Hasim served as Construction Supervisor (PMT) for the Jeddah Storm Water Drainage Program, a multi‑billion‑riyal initiative addressing catastrophic flooding in the region.

His work included:

  • Oversight of dams, spillways, channels, and culverts

  • Managing utilities diversion (SEC, STC, Mobily, NWC)

  • Conducting inspections, NCR management, and safety compliance

  • Coordinating demolition, right‑of‑way issues, and stakeholder engagement

  • Ensuring quality, progress, and contract compliance

These projects strengthened his expertise in hydrology, geotechnical works, and large‑scale civil infrastructure.
