A Global Standard of Leadership
The PMP® certification validates strategic thinking, ethical leadership, and mastery of project governance — a powerful credential for engineers shaping Saudi Arabia’s transformative infrastructure landscape.
Engr. Mecbar: A Journey of Discipline and Determination
Engr. Mecbar embraced the PMP® challenge with the same discipline he applies to his engineering work — studying consistently, mastering PMI’s frameworks, and sharpening his leadership mindset.
His success reflects a commitment to continuous learning, a deep understanding of project governance, and the ability to manage complexity with clarity and confidence.
Engr. Nasser Asain: Strengthening a Legacy of Project Controls Excellence
For Engr. Nasser, the PMP® certification is a natural progression in a career built on precision, resilience, and high‑impact project delivery.
Already known for his work in stormwater resilience systems, industrial facilities, and urban development at KAFD, his PMP® credential reinforces his leadership in project controls and strengthens his ability to guide complex portfolios with strategic insight.
Honoring the Mentor Who Built Us: Dr. Jessica S. Sale
No celebration of PMP® success — or any project management achievement from Batch 2001 — would be complete without honoring the woman who planted the seeds of discipline, structure, and leadership in all of us: Dr. Jessica S. Sale, our unforgettable professor in Project Management at Western Mindanao State University.
Long before Mecbar and Nasser earned their PMP® credentials… long before any of us stepped into construction sites, boardrooms, or mega‑project offices… there was Ma’am Jessica, standing in front of us with her calm authority, sharp intellect, and unwavering belief that WMSU engineers could lead anywhere in the world.
She didn’t just teach us formulas, Gantt charts, or CPM networks. She taught us how to think like project managers — how to communicate with clarity, lead with integrity, plan with foresight, and deliver with accountability.
Her classroom was our first project site. Her lessons were our first frameworks. Her expectations became our professional standards.
“She didn’t just teach Project Management. She built Project Managers.”
Today, as Mecbar and Nasser join the global community of PMP®‑certified professionals, we honor the professor who shaped their foundation — and ours. Her influence lives in every milestone we achieve, every project we deliver, and every leadership role we step into.
This achievement is hers as much as it is ours.
A Proud Moment for Batch 2001
The success of Mecbar and Nasser demonstrates the global competitiveness of WMSU engineers, the value of lifelong learning, and the shared commitment of our batch to excellence and leadership.
